Arigatou In Japan
In Japan they say thank you or “arigatou” so often that you would be very surprised. It’s funny to me but it’s also kind of nice to hear thank you for everthing you do.
You want to hear a funny story? I went in quickly to a cafe to use their washroom. I didn’t buy anything just used the washroom and then on my way out everyone started yelling “arigatou” at the top of their lungs. I thought they were just joking around but actually they were serious and it’s so funny to me to think that they would do that.
Coming from cities like Toronto in canada where no one says anything it’s neat. Even if you pay people money at a shop back home it’s hard to get a nice thank you out of them…..
